本刀具採用 Morakniv 特別訂製的 Laminated Steel 層壓鋼板，常用於木雕直刀產品線，刀片的設計是由外層較軟的合金鋼包覆中間核心的高碳鋼，再經由硬化處理達到HRC 58-60的硬度。這種刀片具有相當優異的韌性，能承受木工作業時經常會有橫向施力切壓力道, 讓木工師傅安心且順手的切削木塊。
使用後請抹油保養，避免生鏽。

採用層壓鋼製成的刀刃，由外層較軟的合金鋼包覆中間核心的高碳鋼，再經由硬化處理，具有相當優異的韌性，能夠彎曲成預定的形狀，刀鋒的銳利度也較為持久耐用
使用鉚釘將木柄與刀根緊密扣合，全龍骨（Full Tang）的結構，刀根整體延伸至握柄尾端，提供最好的強度及穩定性
